SEVILLIAN RESTAURANT: GANGPLANK IN THE TABLE

People of TVE do some week in the program, there went out a restaurant of Seville, in which the waiters who were serving the clients were models. These were serving Roman style the cliente with a wardrobe, and his food was of author. It seemed to me to be innovative enough since the alone fact of being served of this form gives an air of differentiation with the restaurante of the province. His advertising was free, since on having gone out in the program of People and having been new, the advertising is free.

I have thought that in a restaurant it would be a new service offers a chauffeur who takes to house the clients who have taken alcohol, in order that they do not worry for driving.
To offer as a service of taxi but free, to the clients of the restaurant.


(It lowers the level of blood alcohol level to prevent many persons from dying a year in traffic accidents through the fault of the alcohol.)

In our opinion the new model of marketing isn’t very probable that it will replace the previous model of marketing - the 4P´s (Product, Price, Publicity and Placement). Because in the investigation of market it’s necessary for the company to study the 4P to know the behaviour of all the market. This study is very important to know the competition, customers, environment, objective, reduce risk, and to take a decision. Café al dente

Un café que se come. Es un nuevo concepto de alimentación en el mundo de la gastronomía. La creatividad de Adrià, unida a la larga trayectoria del café, ha logrado una mezcla explosiva que, por su sofisticación, deja a más de uno perplejo. Nada menos que cafés sólidos, en múltiples formas y texturas, que, además de no manchar la ropa cuando se caen, forman parte de esa nueva filosofía del gusto, que conjuga tradición con innovación en la búsqueda de otras maneras de entender el café. En el salón del Gusto de Turín (Italia), vimos todas las sorprendentes formas de degustar un café que en nada se parecen a lo que estamos acostumbrados.
La historia de estos cafés que se comen empezó en 2002 cuando a la marca Lavazza (fundada en 1895), una de las productoras más importantes del mundo y líder en Italia, se le ocurrió fichar a ese genio de la cocina llamado Ferrán Adrià para que con su prodigiosa imaginación diese una vuelta de campana al concepto tradicional del café y crease, gracias a las nuevas técnicas de la cocina algo verdaderamente insólito que renovase el mundo del café. Así nació el «café que se come», el primer expresso con una textura distinta pero con un sabor intacto.
Etiopía, país descubridor
Dicen que Etiopía fue el país que descubrió el café como bebida pues, según la leyenda, fue un pastor el que observó que sus cabras se encontraban alteradas cuando ingerían los frutos de un árbol salvaje. Él se lo dijo a unos monjes de un monasterio cercano que, como sintieron curiosidad, probaron los granos y observaron que les mantenía más horas despiertos para la oración. Lo habían descubierto. Y fue en Abisinia donde, por primera vez, se empezó a tomar como bebida, y lo apreciaron tanto que lo guardaron en secreto para que el mundo no se enterase del descubrimiento de su bebida y se lo quitase. Por eso a Europa (el primer envío fue a Venecia y Amsterdam) no llegó hasta 1614.
Desde entonces su cultivo se ha extendido por África, América y Australia.
De las cuatro variedades de café que se cultivan en el mundo, la arábiga y la robusta son las mejores, y bien lo sabe Lavazzia que se embarcó hace más de un siglo en el proyecto de conseguir un buen café, una labor que es todo un arte y que según el país se puede tomar de mil maneras: a la turca, en infusión, filtrado a la americana o en cafetera. Pero en 2002 llegaron con Adrià las nuevas texturas, como el «éspresso», en sus versiones cappuccino y macciato, que forman una nueva dimensión del gusto, con aroma y sabor al café tradicional pero con textura sólida. Y por si esto fuera poco, en 2004 creó el primer «huevo de café», gracias a la técnica de la esferificación (sólido por fuera y líquido por dentro), una especie de cáscara de café por fuera que al introducirlo en la boca se libera su contenido que, no es otra cosa que un sorbito de café. En la técnica se emplea el alginato, que lo convierte en una peculiar «yema de huevo» que se derrite al ser introducida en la boca, inundando el paladar con su aroma. También en 2004 creó el «passion-me», un cóctel a base de zumo de fruta de la pasión, hielo, menta y espresso. Y como en un juego de magia, más adelante se ideó el «cookie cup», la taza que se come, concebida por el diseñador Enrique Luis Sardi, en colaboración con el pastelero Cataldo Parisi. La taza, que está hecha de pasta quebrada, contiene una capa especial de glaseado que la impermeabiliza y actúa como aislante. Primero se bebe un poco de café, y después se muerde un trozo de taza con una idea de haber tomado «café con galletas».
Lentillas de café
El último descubrimiento, en esto de rizar el rizo de las formas nuevas de tomar café lo ha marcado Carlo Cracco, cocinero y dueño del restaurante Cracco, de Milán, a quien no se le ha ocurrido otra cosa que hacer «lentillas» (de esas que llevan los miopes para poder ver) de café. La técnica se le ocurrió a su ayudante, Matteo Baronetto, un chef que, como llevaba muchos años con sus lentillas, quiso rendirles un homenaje por haberle liberado de las gafas. Lo curioso de estas «lentes», de textura parecida a las de verdad solo que comestibles, es que pueden acompañar a platos dulces y salados.
Toda una novedad en el Salón del Gusto de Turín, donde abundaban las mermeladas con mostazas y picantes, las mieles de abejas a las que su apicultor saca de paseo durante unas horas para que tomen el polen de unas determinadas flores, aceitunas confitadas, los mejores panes y brioches del mundo o una variedad de cacaos y figuras de chocolates irresistibles.

Do you agree with the author? Do you think that 4Ps are that important?
No, we aren’t because, in our opinion the older Ps were more important, because this are focuses to customer and they are more specific, whereas the old Ps are more general, the old Ps were more important for this reason but alone this is our opinion.

FOUR NEW P'S

Four New Ps
Personalization: Customization of products and services through the
use of the Internet. Early examples include Dell on-line and
Amazon.com, but this concept is further extended with emerging
social media and advanced algorithms. Emerging technologies will
continue to push this idea forward.
Participation: This is to allow the customer to participate in what the
brand should stand for; what should be the product directions and
even which ads to run. This concept is laying the foundation for
disruptive change through democratization of information.
Peer-to-Peer: This refers to customer networks and communities where
support happens. The historical problem with marketing is that it is
“interruptive” in nature, trying to impose a brand on the customer.
This is most apparent in TV advertising. These “passive customer
bases” will ultimately be replaced by the “active customer
communities”. Brand engagement happens within those
conversations. P2P is now being referred as Social Computing and
is likely to be the most difficult force in the future of marketing.
Predictive modeling: This refers to algorithms that are being successfully
applied in marketing problems (both a regression as well as a
classification problem).
